Ready to make that transition? Makeup Artist Stephanie Cunningham shares some of her simple ways to make moves from Winter to Spring beauty trends.
Glowing skin was a big hit on the Spring 2014 runways. Always be sure to start with clean, primed skin. MUA Stephanie Cunningham recommends La Base Pro primer by Lancôme. Follow with a moisturizing and protective foundation like MAC’s Mineralize Moisture SPF 15 Liquid Foundation (here in NC & NW 45). Brighten tired skin or cover blemishes (where necessary) using concealer (MAC NC 45). Add definition and frame the face by filling eyebrows (here MAC eye shadow in Embark).
Sweep NYX Ultra Pearl Mania in Pale Gold over the lids for a natural shimmer. Build up layers to take the look from day to night and highlight one of Spring 2014′s biggest trends; the metallic lid. Line the upper lashes using Lancôme’s Artliner 24 Hour. Finish this simple eye look by coating lashes in Lancôme’s Hypnose Star. Highlight the cheeks and temple with MAC Fleur Power blush and MAC Blunt Contour.
Finally, complete the look with the hottest lip trend for Spring 2014; bright orange lipstick (here MAC Lady Danger). Blot for a slightly matte finish, or add a layer of gloss to really make the color pop.
