Monster headphones are looking to make a strong comeback in 2014 since Beats Electronics ended their partnership with the company last year. With the help from Swizz Beats, who purchased a co-ownership stake in the company, Monster is looking to regain their share of the market from competitor Beats by Dre, and what looks like a coming high-end collaboration with Chanel could help them get the buzz they need for a fresh start.
The headphones made their debut at Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2014 supermarket show and people have been speculating about their release ever since. Swizz Beats posted photos on his Instagram of himself and Karl Lagerfeld sporting the styles after the show. The Chanel headphones look similar to Monster’s N-Tune headphones, whose market retail value is about $170 but stay tuned for news on the stylish co-branded release.
